Before you become a member, you must choose the discipline related to your education, as this will be one of the first questions asked on your application. 

• The discipline differs from your experience, which may vary if you are not a recent graduate. 
• The OACETT Admissions Committee evaluates your academic requirements based on the learning discipline, so if you choose a different discipline from your academics, you may be assigned additional courses. 
• If you do not see your discipline below or need assistance determining the discipline you should apply for, contact us at certify@oacett.org.   
• Note: If you graduated with a biomedical diploma, you should choose the Bioscience discipline; for a diploma in mechatronics or firefighting/fire systems, please choose Mechanical.
