We are pleased to share that, as of March 1, 2025, the OACETT Professional Insurance Program is now managed by PROLINK Insurance Inc., transitioning from our previous partner, AON.

  • Greater Cost Stability: PROLINK is endorsed by multiple provincial associations for Technicians and Technologists. By expanding participation in their existing program for Designers, they can negotiate better rates and maintain stable pricing over time.
  • Streamlined Online Experience: PROLINK offers a secure, user-friendly online platform that simplifies the insurance renewal process, allowing members to complete applications easily on any device.
  • Enhanced Resources & Support: Beyond insurance, PROLINK provides dedicated service and educational resources to support members' professional success and development.

  • Coverage up to $2 million to defend allegations of professional negligence (higher limits available upon request)
  • $100,000 in defence costs for legal representation before the Disciplinary Committee
  • $100,000 in defence costs for Criminal Code offenses
  • $100,000 in Privacy Breach Coverage (higher limits available upon request)
  • Bill 124 compliance to secure a BCIN number
  • Legal defence costs do not reduce policy limits

While the OACETT Professional Insurance Program will no longer be managed by AON, your insurance policy and provider will remain the same with Victor Insurance Canada, a long-standing and reliable provider for our members.
