Speaker Information:

Melanie McGregor has more than 20 years of experience training people from all walks of life about mental health and how they can support their own and others’ wellness. She has been part of the CMHA Halton team since 2012 and is currently responsible for leading health promotion and community engagement. Melanie is a Mental Health First Aid Canada Master Trainer, an elite designation for her experience helping people learn to support others in their lives. She also teaches courses on suicide intervention, facilitates a variety of mental health-related sessions for workplaces, groups, and schools, and has written a bi-weekly wellness column for local Halton newspapers.
