The Cornwall Chapter invites you on a Mid-Construction Tour of A Multi-Residential Building Employing Passive House Design.

📍 Location: Pitt Street Passive Apartment, 1164 Pitt Street, Cornwall, K6J 3P5

Free parking is at 1180 Pitt Street, across the street from the Rendezvous Restaurant.

At 1164 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON, a 10-unit multi-residential apartment aims to achieve a Low Energy Certification with the Passive House Institute. This project will mark the first certified multi-residential building both in Cornwall, ON and the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Counties. The building consists of four (4) one-bedroom apartment units (430 sq. ft.) and six (6) two-bedroom apartment units (720 sq. ft.)

About Speakers

Brock Wilson, Licensed Technologist OAA, CPHD, C.E.T., LEED GA, has been a certified OACETT member for more than a decade in the Cornwall area.

In 2021, Mr. Wilson started Wilson Architectural Design, the same year he received his Passive House designer/consultant certification (CPHD). Wilson Architectural Design as partnered with Point Engineering on this, and other Passive House projects in eastern Ontario. Jeremiah Point is a LEED accredited, Licensed Professional Engineer specializing in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
