About Speakers

Noor Sahyon, C.E.T.: Noor holds a Civil Engineering Diploma from BCIT and a sanitary and environmental diploma from University of Technology. She is currently the Infrastructure and Asset Technologist and the Drainage Superintendent with the City of Welland. Noor is OACETT Niagara Chapter Women in Technology Representative for 2024. She has nine years of experience as a civil technologist, including six years as a designer and drafter in the private sector and about three years as an infrastructure and asset technologist in the municipal sector. Noor is a C.E.T. and she is an active member with OACETT and DSAO Niagara Chapters.

Linsday Taylor: Lindsay Taylor holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Labour Studies with a minor in Psychology from Brock University, as well as diplomas in Business General and Environmental Technician studies from Niagara College and a Graduate Certificate in Ecosystem Restoration. She is currently a Forestry Management Assistant for the City of Mississauga and is an aspiring ISA Certified Arborist and OACETT Certified Technician.
