Message from the Chapter Chair

Welcome to the OACETT Georgian Bay Chapter! Our chapter represents OACETT members in the Georgian Bay area north of Toronto including Collingwood, Parry Sound and as far as Bracebridge areas. 

The Chapter Executive Team is a dedicated group of volunteers who organize meetings, events, and initiatives that support and engage our local members. We host chapter meetings every two months in Barrie, both in-person and virtually, with a break during the summer.  We are hoping to be able to provide our chapter members with opportunities for professional development, growth and interactions with like-minded individuals.

This year we are hard at work organizing events like our Annual Golf Tournament at Tangle Creek, our Annual Curling Bonspiel in Stroud, and our Annual Colts Hockey Night. All of these events are a great way to get together with your family and your membership to have some fun!

The Georgian Bay Chapter is also proud to support local STEM initiatives, such as the Robotics Competition at Georgian College and regional science fairs — helping to inspire the next generation of innovators.

We invite you to join us at any of our events to meet your Chapter Executive Team, build your network, and explore opportunities for career growth—or just enjoy some well-deserved fun!
