If so, please consider submitting your application to serve on OACETT’s Board of Directors. OACETT is seeking applicants in good standing for the following positions:

• Regional Board Representatives: Only Certified members can apply. Six positions are available. There will be one representative for each of the six OACETT regions: Western, Horseshoe, Toronto, Central, Eastern, and Northern. 
• Young Professionals Representative: Associate and Certified members 35 and under can apply. The elected candidate will also serve as the Chair of the Young Professionals Committee.
• Student Representative: Student members in their final year can apply. One year term. 

The Board of Directors is responsible for:

• Identifying and actioning key priorities for the profession
• Setting and monitoring the strategic direction of the association

• Financial and resource oversight

The deadline for applications is Friday, January 31 at 11:59pm ET.   

All candidates will be considered by the Nominating Committee, who will be developing a slate of candidates to recommend to the members for election at the AGM on June 7, 2025.  All candidates will be advised of the slate selection and will be given the opportunity to challenge the slate if desired, prior to publication to all members.  The proposed slate will be communicated to all members by May 7 at the latest – 30 days prior to the AGM.  Please see OACETT’s Election Policy for further information.
