I wanted to notify all OACETT members that, at the Board of Directors meeting on November 22, I advised that I would need to take a leave of absence from my role as President due to some health challenges.  I remain passionate about serving and supporting OACETT, but when I don’t have the capacity to fully perform my duties, then I need to step aside and allow our procedures for coverage to come into play.  President-Elect Christopher van Dop, Past-President Rosanna Tyrer and CEO Cheryl Farrow were all notified in advance of the Board meeting of my intention to announce the leave, and collectively, they will ensure that the duties of the office of the President are fulfilled.  

The president@oacett.org email will continue to be monitored, and inquiries will be directed to the most appropriate individual for action/response.  Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to being back in the saddle when circumstances allow.
