The Ontario Technologist magazine, one of OACETT’s premium member perks, is undergoing changes you should know about. The magazine, now called The OT (The Ontario Technologist), has been redesigned to offer a new modern look and deliver a more prominent publication to you seasonally—digitally and in print.
The magazine will now be offered quarterly, with winter, spring, summer and fall editions – a change from the six times-a-year offering.
WHY THE CHANGE?
Responsible use of member funds.
Our commitment to wise financial stewardship means carefully managing the costs of printing and mail postage. By reducing the magazine’s frequency, we ensure your membership dollars are spent responsibly while maintaining the magazine’s high quality.
Environmental considerations.
Printing fewer OT issues helps us reduce paper usage, aligning with our ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.
Time for an updated, modern look.
We’re taking this opportunity to refresh our look, making it easier to read, navigate, and visually engage with the content.
More in-depth content. Slightly larger editions.
Each edition will provide more comprehensive coverage of relevant engineering technology news and happenings. These information-packed issues will also offer broader perspectives, more member stories, and updates on OACETT initiatives.
Our strategic move to deliver a more robust and modern magazine genuinely reflects the evolving needs and interests of OACETT members. By staying connected through thoughtfully curated editions, we will continue our mission of informing, educating, and inspiring the engineering technology community across Ontario.
We always seek informative, relevant industry, technical and business articles. To share your story idea or submit an article, email editor@oacett.org.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
