Unlike the other committees, whose members will be recommended by the Nominating Committee for appointment by the Board of Directors, the members of the Member Engagement and Services Committee (MESC), which is seen as the direct voice for the members, Chapters and Regions, are elected directly by OACETT Certified members in good standing – there will be one committee member elected for each region.  

Candidates for the MESC were invited to apply between April 14 and April 27; however, our initial recruitment did not result in any candidates for the Western region.  The Nominating Committee reached out once again and two candidates have now come forward so the election can proceed.  To view the candidates for the Western region, please click on the hyperlink.

Please watch your email for a link to the online ballot. Please whitelist invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com to ensure that you receive your ballot, and remember to check your junk folder, just in case!  

The elections will be open from May 29 to June 12, which is a bit later than the other regions and means the results for the Western Region will not be available in time for the AGM. We will ensure that they are shared as soon as the Returning Officer finalizes the result.
