OACETT’s Annual General Meeting of Members is fast approaching – here’s how you can participate May 06, 2026

OACETT’s Annual General Meeting of Members (AGM) is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.

On May 6, all members will receive an invitation to register, though only Certified members are eligible to vote at the AGM as per OACETT By-law 20, Article 7.6. Please watch for an email from GetQuorum with your unique registration link. If you don’t receive on email on May 6th, please check your spam, and if it’s still not there, please contact Elle Armstrong at agm@oacett.org.

Note: Please ensure to whitelist notices@getquorum.com to receive your unique registration link.

Members do have the opportunity to request that items be added to the agenda and you can also request amendments once the agenda and meeting materials have been circulated. Here is the link to OACETT’s policy on meetings of members that explains the steps required. Certified members can also submit a request to move or second a particular motion – please send your request to agm@oacett.org, stating the motion in question. Requests will be considered on a first come, first served basis, so not all requests may be able to be accommodated.

Meeting materials are also available through the Members’ Portal, accessible here.

We hope we’ll see you there, or Certified members are able to direct your specific votes on the identified motions by limited proxy (which will be held by the President-Elect) if you cannot attend the meeting live (using the same link from GetQuorum that will be sent on May 6th). Alternatively, Certified Members can appoint a general proxy here. Please see the policy on meetings of members for more information about the two kinds of proxies (the link is above).

Please see as well the Notice of Meeting/Proxy and User Guide for the GetQuorum platform.
