Have you served a minimum of two two-year terms on the Board of Directors/former Council, or a minimum of one two-year term on the Board/Council and a minimum of one two-year term as an OACETT Chapter Chair, a member of a provincial-level OACETT committee, or in a comparable senior governance role with another organization?

OACETT is looking for dynamic, committed individuals to stand for election into the role of President-Elect.

Time Commitment

The two-year term as President-Elect will begin in June 2027, then automatically transitions to two years as President in June 2029, followed by two years as Past-President starting in 2031. While the time commitment is significant, this is a very rewarding opportunity.

All applications will be vetted for completeness and eligibility by the Nominating Committee. Elections for the President-Elect will be conducted by electronic ballot starting on January 11, 2027, closing on January 25, 2027. All Certified members in good standing are eligible to vote.
